This piece was created from a naturally burnt Redwood that occured over a 100 years ago in the forests of Santa Cruz.
An expression of rebirth from the ashes while still keeping the top rim a live edge, as a reminder of the wisdom that is born from the hard experiences of the past, the ribbs around connecting it to the present moment.
